Es ist der Flügel von Luft, Reibung und Schwerkraft geboren, die Flosse von Wasser, Welle und Strömung, Fell und Muskel von Stein, Sand und Erde, ihr Auge von Licht Schatten und Farbe. Die Feder scheint im Fluge nicht allein Besitz des Vogels zu sein, sondern ebenso jener der Lüfte, in denen er zuhause ist. Das Meer schwimmt die Flosse ebenso wie der Fisch, an welchem sie wächst und die Erde ist in den Knochen derer, die sie trägt. Der Zauber der Natur liegt im Untrennbaren, darin, dass keines allein und für sich ist, sondern Faden in EINEM Gewebe, nicht in Zweifel gezogen, sondern eins in Geburt, Leben und Sterben.

The wing is born from air, friction and gravity, the fin from water, wave and current, fur and muscle from stone, sand and earth.
